Luke Axworthy is an award winning metalsmith and educator with a range of traditional and modern metalworking skills. Luke teaches blacksmithing classes for people of all ages (11+) and abilities at Flameworks Creative Arts Facility.
Private classes are available on Saturdays for individuals or group bookings. Perfect as an extra special gift, an incredible one-off experience or as the first step towards learning to become a blacksmith yourself. Luke also works closely with local charities and organisations to offer specialised classes for young people who are struggling with their mental health.
With a Masters in creative education, a First-Class Honours degree, full insurance, SENCO, Prevent and first aid training and ADBS checking to ensure that you have a professional one of a kind blacksmithing experience.
Please Note - As a community driven business with a focus on helping young people, Luke Axworthy does not teach anyone to make swords, knives or weapons of any kind.
