Pottery Throwing with Angie Wickenden
This 2.5 hour session focuses solely on throwing technique and if you want to take some of your work home this can be discussed at the time. I can also glaze your work for you by arrangement.
By the end of the session we will have covered the basics of throwing cylinders ,the tools needed to throw pottery, centering the clay and diagnosing throwing faults. We can also cover how to wedge clay in preparation for throwing, and understanding the theory behind this craft practice. The aim is to enable you to have the skills to throw pottery on your own or to begin to practice this craft independently.
All materials are included in the price.
I’m now offering one to one sessions, one to two sessions, or one to three sessions if you wish to do a couple or group throwing session together.
