Lucia Yonge

I am an artist who primarily makes work from discarded and broken ceramics and other found materials. With a focus on sustainability and recycling, my practice looks at creating something new and beautiful out of the broken and unwanted, and encouraging others to think about what they throw away. I am excited by the potential I see in things, especially old and broken things, to become part of a new object that doesn’t exist until I make it. When does something become useless? It's all about perspective, don't bin it - reinvent it.
